- STUFF MAGAINZE AWARD iTUBE 'HOT BUY'
If you wan the best system for your iPod, splash out on an iTube... or suffer the consequences.

- SUNDAY TIMES - SEVEN (14-1-07)
As an audio-visual objet, the Fatman iTube iPod docking station/amp is hard to beat. Valve amplifiers are wonderful for reproducing analogue source material (eg vinyl LPs). The iTube, though, is dealing with a digital signal and, to get the best results, you will need either to convert your music files to a lossless codec (a file that retains the maximum amount of information when it is compressed and decompressed), or to use a fourth-generation iPod which features a top-spec Wolfson DAC (digital-to-analogue converter)
- GQ Magazine Says:
Fatman iTube Valve Dock and Speakers
iPodular excellence: A hybrid of digital and analogue components make up this unusual yet striking iPod dock-amp-and-speakers combo. The attention to detail is as appealing as the rich, robust sounds: nothing spared in the construction, there are also cleaning gloves (snooker ref!) and decent cabling in the box. (Nerdly note: Fatman is a side project of TL Audio, a maker of music machines favoured by, among others, Gorillaz.) The clincher: No more "minimalist" white plastic docks that look like ice-cream machines.
- iTube Witn What-HI-Fi 5 STARS!
Individual, and stylish looks; massages the knots from uptights compressed MP3 music files.
